Is your child on a HSE waiting list for braces? Through the HSE Cross Border Directive, they can skip the wait and have their braces fitted at Zen Orthodontics. This directive allows you to come to Newry for your child’s braces and the HSE will reimburse up to €2,700 of the cost.

Which types of braces are available through the HSE Cross Border?
Children’s braces are composed of stainless steel brackets with a wide choice of coloured bands that can be changed at each appointment. Once the brace has been fitted, your child will visit Zen every 6-8 weeks for adjustment appointments.
Retainers and any review appointments up to 1 year after the brace has been removed are included in your child’s treatment. The cost of treatment generally ranges from £2800 to £3100 depending on the treatment necessary.
